    Materials Development

Many of the misconceptions about Korea are caused by a lack of materials available to foreigners. Accordingly, the Center has placed a lot of effort into developing introductory materials that are written in foreign languages and that are easily accessible to the general public. These materials are expected to stimulate interest in Korea and to increase people’s familiarity with Korea. These materials are also anticipated to help dispel any misconceptions that people have about Korea.
The Understanding Korea materials can be used by publishers, educators, and government entities. Publishers can use these materials when writing books; educators can use these materials in their classrooms; and government entities can use these sources when requiring information about Korea.
