AKS Summer Program for International Students

The Cultural Program for Foreigners was established in 1993 with a view to enhance the understanding of Korea by helping foreigners to learn and experience the Korean language and culture. So far, many participants have come to have a positive interest in Korea as the cultural programs have been held 20 times, and they have then played a pivotal role in intoducing Korea in their own countries after the completion of the program. The majority of participants who have completed the program tend to continue relevant studies in domestic and overseas universities and graduate schools, while some of them have actively been working as Korean language teachers or Korean researcher.
