▶About ‘Societas Koreana Lecture Meeting“ Program
The Societas Koreana, a non-profit outreach arm of the Academy of Korean Studies, was established in 2010 to promote and foster an in-depth understanding of Korea amongst the international community in Korea. A series of lectures, to be held under the auspices of Societas Koreana, will provide the foreign residents of Korea who are engaged in leadership roles, with proper perspective on a breadth of critical issues. Lectures will be delivered by internationally recognized experts in their respective fields and will cover a spectrum of topics ranging from Korean arts and culture to Korean history.
The lecture meetings is generally accompanied by a meal. There is no charge for the lecture series, but attendance at the lecture is by invitation only. Certificates of Completion will be provided to those who complete the lecture meetings successfully based on proper participation rate.
Societas Koreana's goal is to promote and foster an in-depth understanding of Korea among the international community in Korea. We believe that your participation and support will enhance the value of this program and make it grow. Also, this meeting will be a good opportunity for you to understand Korean culture, and to meet members of the international communities in Korea and other scholars.
